Warranty/Repair Claims

We want your experience with H-Square Engraving Systems to be a positive one. In order to process your warranty claim in a most expeditious manner, please take a moment to read the following and follow few simple steps.

  • Customer’s remedy for any new system or purchase new parts warranty claim shall be to return the defective product to H-Square for repair or for replacement at the option of H-Square. Customer must pay the freight charges, unless such defects are reported within 30 days of delivery, then, the return freight charge shall be paid by H-Square.

  • Please contact your dealer first, only in the event that your dealer is unable to respond, or you do not have a dealer, then contact our Customer Service Department @ 650 739 0138

  • A Warranty Claim Form will be faxed or email to you immediately, in which, a RFA (Return to Factory Authorization) Number will be assigned to you. Please complete the Warranty Claim Form.

  • Return the defective product/part together with a copy of the Warranty Claim Form. PLEASE MARK THE RFA NUMBER IN FRONT of your package. Failure to do so could result in delay of the processing of your claim. Your RFA number is only valid for next 30 days, and you must return the defective parts to us within the 30 days.


  • Refund Policy: No refund for any custom made part or specially made for part no longer in stock. Refund for current stocking parts must be made within 7 days of purchase. And there is a 15% restocking charge.


  • Our normal warranty turn around time is 5-10 working days, unless out of stock, in which case, we shall inform you on the estimated date.

  • If you can not afford to have Any Down Time,  please contact your dealer for a loaner, or buy a spare part, it will help you in the long run.

  • All outbound merchandise will be shipped UPS ground, unless requested by the customer to ship differently, and it will be at the customer’s expense.

  • Daily shipment cut-off time is 12:00 p.m. Request for over-night shipment after 12:00 p.m. will be charged $25.00 for handling.

  • There is a minimum order of $25.00. Any orders below $25.00 will be charged a service fee of   $10.00.
