How do I unzip the files?

Note: All the documents available for downloading were written in Acrobat (R)Reader PDF formats.

Using your WWW browser, go to http://www.adobe.com (the Acrobat Reader home page).

IM (DOS D1.4)

Before downloading the IM controller firmware 9600bps program, please ensure that your D14 software is 9600 bps. Otherwise it will not work!!!

How to install:

1. Click the file IM96-300.zip or IM24-201.zip
2. When prompted, choose to 'Save to Disk' and not 'Open' the file.
--REMEMBER THE DIRECTORY YOU DOWNLOAD THE FILE TO --
3. Once the file is on your computer, double-click the file.
4. Formatted a blank 1.44 floppy disk that can BOOT-UP.
5. Create a subdirectory in A:\ and call it \IM.
6. Copy download files to subdirectory A:\IM\; should contain the following files:

Hardmach.prm
Dsp.prm
Egvflg
Ver.doc
Rv96.exe
Iq96.exe
Ini.exe
Ted.com

7.Copy the file Autoexec.bat into the A:\ root directory.

Note: Write down your machine settings and transfer them to the new IM Controller
Firmware disk.

How to install:

Note: Before overwriting the current files, please make sure that you have backup copies!

First unzip the downloaded files.
Select the location where the MPMT files are found.
Copy and overwrite the downloaded files to the existing files.

The unzipped MPMT20A should contain the following:

How to install:

Note: Before overwriting the current files, please make sure that you have backup copies!

First unzip the downloaded files.
Select the location where the QEG files are found.
Copy and overwrite the downloaded files to the existing files.

The unzipped QEG130 should contain the following:

How do I unzip the files?

If you do not have any unzipping software, follow the rest of the instructions below.

Using your WWW browser, go to http://www.winzip.com (the WinZIP home page).
Click on "Download Evaluation Version".
Click on the link that matches -your operating system- to download the software (for example, Win95/98/NT). You may have to scroll down to see this part of the page.
When prompted, choose to 'Save to Disk' and not 'Open' the file. --REMEMBER THE DIRECTORY YOU DOWNLOAD THE FILE TO-- this is the program that you need to run to install WinZIP. When the file is finished downloading, you can disconnect from your on-line service provider.
Find the WinZIP file that you just downloaded to your hard drive (using Windows Explorer or File Manager). Double-click on the file to begin the program installation. You can usually accept the default options during install.
NOTE: IF YOU CANNOT INSTALL THE WINZIP PROGRAM, please DO NOT call H-Square Engraving Systems; we do not support the WinZIP installation program.
When prompted, choose the "WinZIP Classic" interface. You may want to use the WinZIP Wizard interface for future downloads, but our example below does not cover this option.
FYI: After installing WinZIP, you should have a WinZIP icon on your desktop, in your Start Menu (Win95/98/NT), or in a separate Windows Program Group. Close any open windows on your desktop.
Using your Windows Explorer or File Manager, locate the ZIP file you recently downloaded. When you locate the file, double-click on the file name.
Winzip will automatically open. At the top of the Winzip window, click the "Extract" icon. Winzip will open its "Extract" dialog box. Choose the directory in which to extract the files based on the following:
